Community Advancement Committee

On November 13, 2023, the Board of Commissioners approved an Ordinance to Repeal the Montcalm County Planning Commission Ordinance. On December 11, 2023, the Board of Commissioners approved the Community Advancement Committee Bylaws; members will be appointed to the new committee at the Organizational meeting on January 3, 2024.

The committee will meet the 2nd Wednesday of the month quarterly at 2:00 p.m. at the Administration Building in the 3rd Floor conference Room at 211 West Main Street in Stanton.  M

Community Advancement Bylaws

Previously, the Montcalm County Planning Commission Ordinance was approved in September 2003 and the Commission was organized in January 2004. A new ordinance that complies with the Michigan Planning Enabling Act was adopted in September 2009.
