Transcript Fee

Per statute, the base fee for a transcript is $2.05/page ($1.75/page for the original file +0.30/page for a copy fee). See below for the fee for expedited transcript requests.

In accordance with Enrolled House Bill No. 5046, beginning April 2, 2025, transcript rates will be changed to $3.75 per original page and 90 cents per page for each copy.  The minimum charge for a transcript is $50.00 for the original and 90 cents per page for any copy requested.

On January 1, 2030, and on January 1 of every fifth year after 2030, the state treasurer shall adjust the amounts in this subsection to reflect the cumulative annual percentage change in the Consumer Price Index and publish the adjusted amounts.

The transcript will, generally, be delivered within 28 days of the request. However, transcripts will be produced on a first come first serve basis. Depending on the number of request ahead of the requesting party, a transcript may take longer than 28 days. 

Expedited Transcript Requests 

For expedited transcripts, both the transcriptionist and the requesting party must agree to the fee before a transcript is produced. This agreement is a separate contract between the requesting party and the transcriptionist. Please contact 64B District Court Reporter, Lanna Thompson, for more information.
