Montcalm County Veterans Affairs (MCVA) Mission Statement
Is to serve and honor veterans and their families though our leadership, advocacy, and strong partnerships.
MCVA was established under (PA 192 of 1953) on February 24, 2020. MCVA is funded by YOU, the Montcalm County Taxpayer through the Montcalm County’s Veterans Affairs Millage which funds the personnel to assist Montcalm County veterans and their families to access the benefits and services from federal, state and county agencies, for which they are eligible.

- VA Home Loan Certificate of Eligibility

All services provided by MCVA are free of charge.
This is just an overview of the services provided by our office. In addition to those services noted elsewhere, we also offer Veteran Emergency Relief Grants, Veteran Free Transportation Services and we also assist with other state and local resources as well as MDHHS benefit programs to promote household stability on behalf of the veteran, surviving spouse or dependents.
